6/8/2023 : Peter Cadogan Memorial Cup

First of all a big thanks for everyone coming along and making the day such a good event, all the games were competitive but played in such a way that the football was so enjoyable, walking football as it should be, Peter would have loved it.

Baypoint have to be applauded giving us the use of the pitch and supplying sandwiches and chips free of charge which meant everything we raised on the day was donated to Prostrate Cancer UK.

Four teams entered the fray to win the prestigious trophy but one team were to prove superior, Up Pompeii were worthy winners being victorious in all their matches, Whitstable Sunsets, BCS Originals and Ramsgate were to finish in that order.

BCS Originals 0 Whitstable Sunsets 0
Up Pompeii 1 Ramsgate 0
Ramsgate 1 BCS Originals 2
Whitstable Sunsets 0 Up Pompeii 1
BCS Originals 0 Up Pompeii 4
Whitstable Sunsets 4 Ramsgate 1

Gordon was presented with the trophy as the winning captain as we retired to the bar for some much needed liquid replacement.

Young Rose was the first recipient of the much coveted Red Jacket for her performances in all her games, special mention to Wayne, Jack and Harry for their starring performances in their teams triumph and Carla for her brilliant goal.

Special thanks to John and Gordon for refereeing and Dave for sorting out the goals.

As of today we have raised £913 which will be donated to charity, it is a brilliant effort from everyone I can’t thank you enough.
