BCS 50s kicked off the second half of their season hoping to banish the poor form of 2025 and start 2026 with a good performance. BCS kicked off and knocked the ball around quickly and piled the pressure on instantly . Dave opened the scoring after 5 minutes with Nick W following nearly instantly with another . Sheppey pulled one back against the run of play with I think their only shot all game . Straight from the restart Dave grabbed his 2nd of the game . Phil definitely had his dancing shoes on today… No that’s not a good thing as he fired chance after chance wide high or straight at the keeper … Phil’s goal did come tho as he delved into the book of Northy and unleashed an unstoppable toe-punt .

Nick W then found his shooting boots netting another 3 goals before half-time
HT 7-1.

Tony on for Ian at the break and a little reshuffle didn’t stop BCS today . Dave netted his 3rd of the game just after the break before Nick W added his 5th . Tony eventually bagged a brace after some harsh words from the sidelines about his shooting … The harsh words coming from his own son …

FT 11-1

Fair play to Sheppey who put up a spirited fight especially their goalkeeper in the 2nd half who was outstanding . But .. take nothing away from BCS who played some outstanding football and never relented . Good to see Danny back playing and marshalled the defence Kingy and Ian never stopped working and Matt in goal who had one of his quietest games.

Thank you to all that turned out to watch and Darren and Paul who are both injured but came kitted up just incase .
