A really good all round performance today against strong opposition. The first 10 minutes we had to be on our toes and resilient as we were forced to defend, thankfully we defended well and kept patient not panicking. Despite a good start from Ashford, we gradually started imposing our game as Mick finished off a smart bit of passing between Rob and Les to put us one up at half time.

We started the second half well and were quickly two up as Mick put in Les. Rob then had a good effort well saved, the game was put beyond doubt as Les got his second well set up by Rob.

Everyone played their part today as we kept good possession and even had to survive two periods being a man down as we were pulled up for running and the consequent sin bins.

The game was well controlled by Chris a newly qualified referee and played in a good spirit.
