A humid Sunday morning greeted the two teams for a pre season friendly at Baypoint.
BayCity were missing a few regulars as Scott pulled out with an injury the night before so all looked an uphill task. However,  BayCity set the tone of the day with an impressive start scoring through a peculiar effort from Darren. This goal was scored in the first minute without Hawkinge even touching the ball 1-0.

Soon after Ada scored the 2nd with a screamer( his words) 2-0.

Dave then grabbed the 3rd from a well worked free kick 3-0. This sparked Hawkinge into life and with a great finish it was 3-1 at the break.

The second half started much the same for Bay City with Darren scoring his second of the game 4-1.
Dave then grabbed his second of the game before debutant Nick W smashed in his first goal for the club 6-1.

Some nice one touch football set up Dave for his hat trick (7-1), and Phil rounded off the scoring showing us his dancing feet to put away BayCity’s 8th goal of the match.

Overall a great performance from the whole squad and topped off with no running offences.
