Another home game for the Strollers and never an easy game against the League champions. BCS took a well-deserved lead in the first half after dominating the early stages of the game with a cracking goal from Martin. The momentum was with the Strollers but an unfortunate injury to Goalkeeper Lawrence dented the confidence and Herne Bay fought back strongly and equalised just before half-time. The second half was more even but eventually Herne Bay found a way to get that all important second goal and despite applying some pressure in the last few minutes, BCS were unable to find an equaliser.
