19/3/2020: Suspension of Walking Football Sessions
To All Players:
We are all facing an unprecedented challenge to our personal health and that of other people, and at this time we all need to take a collective response to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Everyone’s cooperation, mutual respect and most of all understanding must be the guiding principles for all of us at this crucial moment in time. We need to have unity and a real sense of shared responsibility and as such we at BayCity Strollers must think of all those around us, especially the most vulnerable.
For these reasons – and in line with Government / WHO / Football Association advice, the BCS Committee have taken the decision to suspend all Walking Football sessions, initially for a period of 5 weeks starting from this Monday 22nd March. We hope to return to the Monday evening sessions on April 20th, but will obviously review the situation nearer that date and will keep everyone updated via the website/WhatsApp/email.
I’m sure all of you will understand this decision.
