Usually a time when I put on my pyjamas, but it was a nice evening. Herne Bay were the opposition. It was fairly even until the HB striker scored low into the corner.

 

Halftime came and we looked to bring on Chris, unfortunately we had 2 players asking to come off. It was agreed to share the time on the side, 10 minutes for George and 10 for Paul, thank you for your efforts in difficult conditions.

 

The HB striker scored a second and had a third disallowed.

 

HB tried to make a substitution but in their confusion the ref blue carded one of their players for coming on before the other player had left the field.  4 minutes followed where HB controlled the game by making 2 passes and playing back to the keeper.

 

Overall we played good football but lacked the final shot.

 

Thanks to Simon for refereeing and to all that came to support.

 

It was nice to see Tony Old at the game.
