As Kent Champions, BayCity Strollers A represented the county in the South East Regional finals in Croydon.  Playing on tiny, caged pitches – a far cry from the luxury of BayPoint’s large Astroturf pitch! – Strollers nevertheless gave a good account of themselves against the best of the rest in the South East. Wins against Croydon and Eastleigh were followed by a disappointing draw against a more than fortunate Arun side.  Needing only a draw to win the Regional championship, Strollers were sunk by a late goal in the final against Bexley, and therefore finished as runners-up.
